If you are LGBTQ, or are uncertain about your sexuality or gender, you are not alone, and your feelings are completely natural.  There is a community of individuals of all different sexual orientations and gender identities here at Williams.

LGBTQ people have the same rights to safety as heterosexual people.

Williams College does not permit discrimination or harassment on the basis of gender, gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation.  If you feel like you have been treated unfairly because of your sexual orientation, or gender identity or expression, you can use our reporting form here, or talk to someone at the Deans office, or Davis Center.

What does it mean to be LGBTQ?

LGBTQ is an acronym that stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer. (to find out more about terminology, LGBTQ Terms and definitions).  LGBTQ is a set of letters often used to describe a diverse community of people who are not hetrosexual.
