A gathering for LGBTQ students to network and discuss the successes and challenges of being LGBTQ identified at small colleges in New England.
When: Saturday March 6th, 10am-10pm

Security would prefer that everyone park behind the Griffin Hall Building, where a majority of our day will be. Look on the map here: http://www.williams.edu/home/campusmap/ to pull into that lot it is best to turn onto hopkins drive off of main street.
Please plan on checking in, in Griffin Hall at 9:30am. There will be amazing queeps there to welcome you and get you a name badge. We will start at 10am in Griffin 3!

10-11:30am How do you do what you do in your student group?
For this session we’ll share the greatest successes as well as failures as student organizations. What are some of the goals we have and are we fulfilling them? How do we face criticism and grow as an organization?
10-11:30 LGBTQ directors and staff advisers (break out)
As staff and faculty how do we support and advise students without taking over?
11:30-1 Lunch (provided by Williams)
1-2:30 Identities and beyond…
We will explore the different ways of constructing identities and how best to incorporate them into our activism and community building.
2:30-3:30 Policy and activism
We will look at policies affecting LGBTQ students and how to make necessary institutional changes. What are the methods that have worked and what are the ones that haven’t?
3:30-5 Break out sessions
An opportunity for smaller focused discussion. To include: LGBTQ within athletics, QPOC, and queer students abroad.
6-10pm Pizza Dinner and Meet and Greet (featuring DJs Nordia & Krystal)
